Busker is a live video app where you can monetise your broadcasts via a beautifully simple and seamless user experience.
You can chat live with the host and if you enjoy their broadcast you can like it, support it (by way of actual money) and buy products all within the live stream. It also boasts other live interactive features such as auctions, polls and gamification via points.
You can like, support or buy via the Busker menu. Viewers can see who has shown their support, but only the broadcaster can see the cash amount.

Prior to any visual design, using lean UX principles the team would have workshops to figure out what was felt to be the best approach to any new features. Once agreed, high fidelity wireframes would be produced and prototypes created to validate our design decisions.
Once the app was in a good place, we applied the same lean UX principles to the website with the focus being on creating a compelling responsive site that was as close to the app as possible, yet utilising the benefits that come with larger displays.
We were also heavily involved with how Busker was branded. After several iterations, the end result represented what we felt captured the essence of Busker.
