The Virgin Money iPad app was a pitch concept as part of the experience for customers in their flagship Virgin Money Lounges. The idea was a canvas of useful information for the customer to digest whilst waiting within one of the lounges.
This included information on the customers account and tailored content based on what we knew about them. On the back of this concept and execution, the pitch was won and the product was later built.
Tapping on sections of the canvas brought up dedicated windows of interactive content. Closing these windows would return you to the main canvas.
Virgin a very big on charity. One of our proposals was to enable customers to contribute tokens to their preferred charity via a touchscreen within the lounge, which would in-turn see the coressponding proceeds go to those charities.
Being that this was a pitch and we had limited time, these playfully sketched wireframes were created by the UX designer which then formed the basis for the visual design.
